Under Tile Heating / Underfloor Heating: Installation
Installing Safe-t-WIRE under tile heating / underfloor heating in your home could not be simpler, the kits come with everything needed for your licensed electrical contractor to carry out the installation by the following steps:
- Select your thermostat position (a standard electrical supply is required).
- Prime the floor.
- Cable spacing in mm equalls area in m2 x 1000 divided by the length of selected cable.
- Run out the cables and fix in place with tape provided.
- Check resistance of cable (must match label on drum supplied).
- Cover with 3 - 4 mm levelling compound.
- Tile / carpet etc. your floor as normal.
